Hatha Yoga
In a Hatha yoga class, you will flow through traditional yoga postures. This class isn’t as fast-paced as a Vinyasa class, but you will still get a nice flowy pace of movements. Typically, we’ll be holding poses for 10+ breaths before moving through to the next pose. Hatha is a great style for all levels of skill and experience. In a Hatha class you can expect to feel challenged, stretched, and refreshed.
Aerial Yoga
Teghann offers two types of aerial yoga class, aerial yoga flow and aerial yoga restorative. In aerial yoga flow, you will flow through poses holding for 5–10 breaths in each. Incorporating traditional yoga elements, this class will challenge you to properly engage your muscles, get deeper in your stretches, and test your balance. This style of aerial yoga is most similar to a Hatha or Vinyasa style yoga class.
In aerial yoga restorative, you will use the hammock as a support to help you relax into poses (similar to a bolster or blocks). In this style you will hold postures for 2–5 minutes and focus on relaxing your mind and body. Restorative is a nice class to take at the end of the week as it will help your body restore, relax, and feel rejuvenated. This class is most similar to a restorative or Yin yoga class.
